I have been taking my dog Roscoe to Doc C. for about two years now. I have been so pleased with my dogs health since I have been going to East Plano Animal Hospital. Roscoe has very bad allergies and two years ago he lost almost all of his hair and he was always licking his paws and scratching and the treatment his previous vet gave him didn't work. I took him to Doc C. and I have had him on medications and he now has a full beautiful thick coat and he doesn't lick and scratch any more. Doc C. and the staff also helped me realize that I am not helping my animal by making him fat and happy, because this only makes him more likely to get sick. I recomend East Plano Animal Hospital, Doc. C. and the staff to anyone who needs a vet that understands and willl take time to explain your pets needs, and works with you and your pet to find out what helps with their allergies, weight issues and any other health issues your pet has. 02/2011 I wanted to update this review today to let people know how happy I have continued being with the health care my dog Roscoe is getting at East Plano Animal Hospital, and with Doc Carbonell. Doc has put Roscoe on a special diet to check for food allergies by challengeing foods. I have felt certin foods made Roscoe itch, lick his paws, and scratch alot more often corn procucts was one of the worst productsfor him These foods make him more prone to allergies now that he is on this food for dogs with allergies, his coat is fuller and he isn't loosing or shedding as much hair as he was prior to starting on this new brand of food. I have begun using flax seed oil on his food, and it helps make his coat shin and it seems to be more silky to the touch, with no objections from Doc.C about using flax oil on his food. The employees continue to be very helpful when I have a question. I know they can be depended them to take excellent care of my dog when I am not present and he is unsure of what is going on around him. They went all out at Christmas time to ensure each and everyone of us got pictures of our pets or at least the offer was made to all the patients to have family pictures made and they turned out real nice for the families to get at Christmas time.
